§ 86-7. Numbers for buildings.

  • (a)

    All buildings fronting on any street or alley shall be numbered in some conspicuous place, by the owner thereof, according to the map made by the building official for such purpose and on file in his office. All odd numbers shall be on one side of the street, and all even numbers shall be on the other.

    (b)

    Any person desiring to have a number put on his building shall first apply to the building official for the proper number. It shall be unlawful for any person to fail or refuse to put the proper number on his building or put the wrong number thereon or fail or refuse to comply with any other requirement of this section.
