§ 46-53. Responsibility for maintenance of property.

Any person owning, claiming, occupying or having supervision or control of any real property, as provided in section 46-52, shall cut and remove all such weeds, brush and other objectionable or unsightly matter as often as may be necessary to comply with section 46-52. Removing and cutting such weeds, brush and other matter at least once in every 30 days shall be deemed compliance with this section, and every person shall use every precaution to prevent such weeds, brush and other matter growing on such premises so as to become a nuisance.
