§ 46-52. Maintenance of property required.

(a)

Any person owning, claiming, occupying or having supervision or control of any property within the city shall mow and maintain such property under the guidelines in this section.

(b)

All grasses and weeds shall be maintained on the property up to the curb or roadway at a height of less than 12 inches. Pastureland property of a minimum of one acre with an agricultural designation by the county appraisal district shall be exempt from this requirement, and such property shall be mowed consistent with its particular agricultural use. Intersections shall be cleared at least five feet back from the curb and at least five feet from the street where there are no curbs.
