§ 86-106. Specifications.

  • The paint used to paint addresses on curbs shall consist of the contrasting colors stated in this section which are easily visible. The numbers shall not be less than four inches in height and painted white. No other color will be accepted for these numbers. The background upon which the white numbers are painted shall be forest green. The paint shall be of a quality that will not deteriorate within a one-year period. A rubberized paint is recommended for use as the base. All work shall be done in a good workmanlike manner. Paint samples shall be submitted to the building official prior to commencement of work.
