§ 78-32. Striking prohibited.

Under this article, it shall be unlawful for any employee in the classified service to engage in any strike against the city or against the agency of the city government by which the employee is employed. In addition to such fine or imprisonment provided under V.T.C.A., Local Government Code § 143.087 of the civil service law, any employee who has been convicted of the violation of this section shall be automatically released and discharged from such classified service and shall thereafter be ineligible to receive any pay or compensation out of any funds provided for the support of such classified service.
