§ 78-26. Definitions.

The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this article, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning; also, the definitions and constructions given by the state legislature in V.T.C.A., Local Government Code § 143.003 are adopted for the purposes of this article:

Civil service law means V.T.C.A., Local Government Code § 143.002 et seq.
