§ 50-113. Procedure for offering reward.

  • Whenever the city manager shall be informed that any fire occurring in the city was of an incendiary origin, he shall call for a report on the fire by the city fire marshal. If the fire marshal shall report that such fire was caused by the commission of the crime of arson, the city manager shall offer the reward prescribed in section 50-111, which offer shall be in the form of a proclamation duly issued by the city manager under his official signature and attested by the seal of the city and which shall be posted upon conspicuous places, one of which shall be the city hall in accordance with the state insurance department.
