§ 26-133. Purchases at temporary locations.

  • A dealer who conducts business pursuant to this article from a temporary location in the city may not engage in business of buying precious metal or used items made of precious metal unless the person has filed a registration statement with the state department of public safety within a 12-month period at least 30 days preceding the date on which each purchase is made and the person has filed, within the same period, a copy of the registration statement with the police department. A registration statement must set forth the following:

    (1)

    The name and address of the person;

    (2)

    The location where business is to be conducted; and

    (3)

    Other relevant information required by the state department of public safety.
