§ 22-213. Obstructions of sewers.

The city, acting through the building official or other authorized officer, shall have the power to stop and prevent any private sewer or drain from discharging into the sewer system any substance liable to injure the sewers or obstruct the flow of the sewage or interfere with the operation of the disposal plant.
