§ 22-57. Fence permit required.

(a)

No person shall construct a fence within the city unless a permit for the construction of the fence shall have been issued by the city.

(b)

The building official shall adopt an application form for a building permit. The application form shall identify the location of the fence to be constructed, the person responsible for the construction, and plans and specifications with sufficient detail to enable the building official to determine that the proposed fence will comply with the provisions of the ordinances of the city, including but not limited to the provisions of section 22-56 of this Code.

(c)

The building official will not issue a fence permit unless he is satisfied that the plans are in accordance with the ordinances of the city.
