§ 22-27. Fire district.

There is established a fire district which shall embrace that portion of the city described as the central business district, as described and shown on the current zoning map of the city and as may be amended or changed in the future, and that portion of the city described as follows:

Beginning at the southeast corner of the intersection of North Houston Street and West Crawford Street; thence northeasterly along with and following the south margin of West Crawford Street to a point where the south margin of West Crawford Street intersects the east margin of North Mallard Street; thence northerly along with and following the east margin of North Mallard Street to a point where the north margin of North Mallard intersects with Poplar Street; thence easterly along with and following the south margin of Poplar Street to a point where Poplar Street intersects with North Fannin Street; thence southerly along with and following the west margin of North Fannin Street to a point where North Fannin intersects with East Market Street; thence westerly along with and following the north margin of East Market Street to a point where East Market Street intersects Avenue A; thence southwesterly along with and following the north margin of Avenue A to a point where Avenue A intersects with North Houston Street; thence northerly along with and following the east margin of North Houston Street to a point where North Houston Street intersects with East Crawford Street, the place of beginning.
